It has been said about the oak, that it grows for 300 years, rests for 300 years and dies for 300 years. Lucky am I who can use it to craft a plate, a bowl or an ornament for an old clock. That way the old oak need not stand strong for 900 years, just to end up as firewood.
For more than a thousand years Norwegian woodturners have contributed in shaping our culture into what it is today. Skilled craftsmen will continue to create beautiful things from wood, even though the profession itself is disappearing.
On these pages I show you a small selection of my products. They were all made with the pride and joy that comes from being a part of tradition.
